Teacher Leader Summit 2027 calls on Louisiana educators to “Win the Day”
State’s premier professional learning event marks 15 years June 1-3 in New Orleans
The Louisiana Department of Education’s annual Teacher Leader Summit will celebrate the daily work of educators with its 2027 theme, “Win the Day.” Taking place June 1-3 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, the event will focus on the strong core instruction that has helped fuel Louisiana’s historic academic progress and the daily practices needed to take the next step for students.
Teacher Leader Summit 2027 also marks 15 years of bringing Louisiana educators together to strengthen their craft, learn from one another, and prepare for the school year ahead. Designed for educators serving students from birth through grade 12, the Summit offers professional learning for classroom teachers, school and system leaders, counselors, early childhood professionals, and more.
Registration
Early bird registration opens February 16 on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration includes all three days of the Summit and must be completed before arriving at the event. The LDOE will not offer on-site registration. Once registration reaches capacity, additional registrants will be added to the waitlist.

Applications are being accepted from organizations interested in participating in the TLS 2027 Education Expo. The Expo gives educators an opportunity to connect with partner organizations outside of scheduled sessions, ask questions, build relationships, and share best practices.
